I have owned the Canon cameras for a while, upgrading every 2 yrs. This one I returned. I'm sure it's a nice camera, but the new anti-slip feel on the outside body of the camera feels like sandpaper - so not a nice experience holding the camera. They probably did it to make it non-slip, but end result is a nasty sandpaper feel.
I owned tens of pos in the last tens of years, i think this is one of the best pocket camera I've owned. I was considering about to have another camcorder to replace an old Sanyo. now I realize I can take this slim baby instead of taking the heavy 5D II and all lens or Pentax-7/X and camcorders. It does all general routing jobs. Image is quite crispy,and super wide range lens perform just well
after playing a while, I immediately got another one for dad.
